As part of any move, Gazidis would be entitled to a share of equity in the club – and that could be worth millions. The new owners at Milan have noted the business acumen Gazidis has shown in the way he has revamped the club and made it a more attractive financial proposition with his skills and organisation. Gazidis has also shown a ruthless streak – as was illustrated in the summer when he axed several long-serving members of staff.
